What is Rapidshare and how do I use it?

Rapidshare is the world's largest file sharing site on the internet today, they offer the server to transfer large amounts of data to anybody in the world at a fast, effective rate.More simply all this means is that Rapidshare has a bunch of these servers; these servers are loaded with anything and everything you could ever think of. Every game, every program/application, every movie, every song, every e-book, literally anything that can be stored on a hard drive, you can find on the Rapidshare servers. So why am I using this site and not Rapidshare.com?

Okay blah blah, how do I download a file!?

To download a file from us, you just need to view by a category (top right), or you can use the search to find exactly what you are looking for (also top right). When searching for downloads, you should not include the words crack, serial, keygen, torrent, rapidshare, download, megaupload, cd key, patch, etc because it will turn up FAR fewer results. If I wanted adobe photoshop with crack or serial, then I would just search for adobe photoshop.

What precautions should I take before downloading files?

Firstly, you should have an anti-virus such as norton antivirus or bitdefender. Now when you download a file, you can scan it with your anti-virus before you open it to make sure there is nothing harmful.

Does Rapidshare-Downloads.com contain spyware/adware/viruses?

No! Never! Rapidshare-Downloads will never have any virus, spyware, or adware on our website, that could harm your computer. But since we index downloads from other people's websites, there is a potential security risk since we cannot guarantee that they're website's are safe. Though we do only index downloads from trusted websites. So the risks of you getting a harmful download is very low.

So what do I do after I download a file from Rapidshare?

Well after you have scanned the file (if it's a exe mainly), then you can proceed to open it and run the file. "Wait wait wait, you're losing me, HOW DO I OPEN THE FILE?"
